For the past 25 years, Baltimore’s premiere Training Academy for children and adult dancers and models alike, Studio A offers dance classes in Ballet, Modern, Hip-Hop, Tap, and Acro. We also offer classes in Modeling and Etiquette. Our Annual class schedule runs from September thru June offering weekday evening and Saturday morning/afternoon classes. Studio A produces 2 annual dance recitals per year showcasing all of our students. We also offer summer evening classes through our 5 week summer session

     Studio “A” also offers an all day, 8 week 100 Girls Performing Arts Empowerment Suuper Summer Camp for girls age 5-14. The summer camp offers ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, academics, sign language, foreign language, swimming, acting, modeling, etiquette, and weekly field trips. Free breakfast and lunch is also served daily. Studio “A” Super Summer Camp is magical!!  It is the best place in the world, for your special girl!!!

    The Studio “A” Foundation, a non-profit component of Studio “A” was established in 2005, has awarded more than $750,000 in college scholarships to students throughout the Baltimore area through our Scholarship Cotillion/Beautillion Program. The program is free and is open to high school students in grades 11 & 12. The program offers a 6 month series of workshops, preparing them for continued education beyond high school. It culminates with a formal ball honoring Debutantes and Beaus in the presence of family, friends and leaders in the Baltimore Community. Every participant gets a $500 scholarship for participating and is eligible to apply for thousands of dollars in scholarships.

    

    Studio “A” Competition Team, & The Studio “A” Dance Ensembles can be seen dancing all over town. They have ministered at churches throughout the DMV and performed live on stage with national recording artists Regina Bell, Kenny Lattimore, Vickie Winans, Chub Rock, Kindred the Family Soul and Violinist Chelsey Green to name a few.   The Studio A Competition Team  has won Regional and International Championships. In 2023, Studio competed in the International Competition, StarQuest World finals in Va, Beach, VA. Studio A walked away as Grand National Champions winning the highest award "The APOGEE" award. They also won multiple National Championships, National Solo Emerging Artist Titles, and several Overall Placement Wins. Studio A was featured on WBAL Channel 2 and WJZ Channel 13 for their outstanding achievements and dance instruction.  Studio A also received a Congressional Award of Excellence and a citation from Governor Wes Moore for the impact they have had on the community working with youth.

     

    The  Studio “A” Models participate in fashion shows throughout each year that features our Modeling and Etiquette students.  This year many of our studnet models walked in New York Fashion Week!! Some of our fashion retail past clients include JC Penny, The Children’s Place, The Dress Barn, Macy’s, Old Navy, Shoe City, Mazani Formal and Sports Zone.  Our divas in training love ripping the runway while showing off their style, confidence and fashion sense.
